Ari Lowenstein

EVP Corporate Development

Ari has been involved in the gift industry internationally since 1997 when he founded a specialty gift company he owned in Italy for 12 years. After moving back to the U.S. in 2009, he worked as a highly successful Business Development manager in the gift industry until 2016 when he created Emergent Workshop, a consultancy firm working with manufacturers. In 2014 he co-founded Canopy, a seller account management firm that manages 20+ businesses on Amazon and other 3rd party platforms.
A former board member of the Museum Store Association, former President of the Gift Sales Managers Association and current Vice Chairman of Gift for Life, Ari is active with many organizations and associations keeping in touch with innovators and industry leaders.
In October of 2019 Ari joined Brandwise, a SaaS company purchased by MarketTime in 2021. MarketTime provides wholesale infrastructure to 7k wholesalers, 7000 sales reps, 330k retailers representing $5b in annual wholesale activity. Ari serves as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for MarketTime giving him the opportunity to explore new projects and initiatives for the largest company in the Gift sector.
Ari has presented frequently at association meetings and conferences on topics including Amazon strategy, retailer-supplier relations, in-store customer experience, mastering cultural retail and other areas of interest.
