Kurt Beeken is the Owner and President of Retail Dimensions (RDi). Kurt is a veteran of the retail and technology industry having worked in retail technology since 1985. He has written and implemented inventory management/POS systems for retailers as well as participated on retailer’s behalf to help them select the best system for their needs. Having worked in nearly every niche of the specialty retail world Kurt gained knowledge of retail analytics, retail inventory optimization, retail store operations, merchandising, retail distribution management & fulfillment.

In the mid 1990’s, Kurt was the chief technology officer at CTR, a 150 employee Microsoft Software Solution Provider that specialized in offering mid-market customized ERP solutions across a broad niche of industries. One of those was the emerging e-commerce space. CTR formed an e-commerce department becoming one of the first firms in Oregon to build e-commerce websites for early adopter entrepreneurs.

As e-commerce grew, traditional brick and mortar retailers realized there were sales to be made online. For this new channel to work required a synchronization between the e-commerce site and the store system to upload accurate available to sell numbers and download orders. Spotting this need to simplify and automate POS to ecommerce integration, Kurt founded Retail Dimensions with Paul Duncan in 2003. Retail Dimensions delivers powerful integration solutions that automate data exchange between point-of-sale systems (POS) and the world’s top e-commerce platforms including Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and Amazon.

The combination of brick and mortar and e-commerce experience allows Kurt and the RDi team to bring a unique perspective when partnering with retailers daily on how to leverage their technology and data to meet business needs and differentiate from competitors.
